The parish council covers a rural area in the North Tyne valley including Falstone, Yarrow, Stannersburn and Donkleywood.

Falstone is a village in Northumberland, England. It is situated in the beautiful North Tyne Valley just to the east of the Kielder Water dam.

The name Falstone means “speckled stone”.

Falstone is part of Europe’s largest Night Sky Park. The nearby Kielder Observatory provides guided tours of the night sky but if you have your own telescope or binoculars then on a clear night you will be rewarded with magnificent views of the stars

The area around Falstone provides the visitor with a large range of attractions;
